Szabályai sima és határozott köröket írtak le - a mozdulatok finom és ravasz íveket rajzoltak a levegőbe. Amikor ellenfele előrelépett, ő lesújtott a láthatóan védtelenül maradt egyik vállra. Ám az elf, akinek kopasz feje csillogott a napfényben, gyorsabb volt. Egyik lábát hátracsúsztatta, hosszú kardjával pedig parírozott, majd hirtelen előretört és tengerésztőrével szúrt, majd ismét lépett egyet előre és karjával döfött. Az elf sima mozdulatait tökéletes harmóniában követte, ikerszabályai védekezve pördültek erre-arra - mindkettő lentről és fentről csendült neki a testének szegezett kardnak. Az elf ismét szúrt, ezúttal derékmagasságban, majd ismét, de ezúttal lent.
